The Fiesta Boholana is more than a celebration — it is a homecoming for every Boholano in Illinois. A day of faith, family, and the warm flavors of home.
Each May, the Circulo Boholano of Illinois gathers in honor of San José, the beloved patron of countless towns across the province of Bohol. From Tagbilaran to Talibon, from Loon to Loboc, devotion to St. Joseph runs deep in the heart of every Boholano — and even thousands of miles from home, that devotion endures.
This year, we come together at Alpine Banquets in Darien for an afternoon of prayer, traditional Boholano cuisine, kundiman and kuradang, and the simple joy of being among kababayan. Whether you are Boholano by birth, by heritage, or by heart — there is a seat at the table for you.
Maupay nga pag-abot. Welcome home.
Faith. Heritage. Community.
A tradition we keep alive — one fiesta at a time.
